1Q. Why doesn’t this site have more content?
1A. This site is new and based on group participation. We will attempt to post at least two charts per week on this site. But this is based on market conditions and our ability to spot something interesting. Here’s where you come in. If you spot a formation, please post it.
2Q. When a chart is posted, why isn’t it updated on a daily basis?
2A. The purpose of this site is to alert you to stock charts that are making, or about to make a pattern. The chart is a snapshot on the day and time it got posted. Once a stock has been brought to your attention, please follow if it interests you and provide us any updates. Any fundamentals that would support the chart formation, it would also be great. (NOTE: Every now and then you should hit the “Refresh” button on your browser to make sure you are viewing the latest content.)
3Q. If I haven’t registered, can I still post information on the site?
3A. Yes. You can post comments, a stock alert, or a stock watch.
4Q. Can I post a chart on your site?
4A. If you have registered, you can attach a gif, jpeg, or png file containing the chart. The chart should not be more than 450px in width.
5Q. Why should I register?
5A. You need to register if you would like to post charts, use the forum, blog, or receive emails when new alerts are posted.
6Q. How do I register?
6A. Click the register link on the log block. You’ll be ask to type in a username of your choosing and a valid email address. Your email address is not shared with anyone. If you forget your password, you can request that a temporary password be sent to your email address, in order to access the site to register a new password.
7Q. If a valid stock chart pattern is posted, can I make money by trading it?
7A. The purpose of this website is group participation in spotting interesting stock formations. None of the information on this site should be interpreted as an endorsement or stock recommendation. No matter how great a stock pattern looks, you can absolutely, positively loose money trading it. A stock chart pattern should only be used to increase the odds of a predicting the movement of a stock’s price.
8Q. How can I subscribe to receive emails when new alerts are posted?
8A. After you register, click the "My Account" link, click the "Subscriptions" button, and then click the "Content Type" button. Select either the "Alert" box or "Watch" box or both. Then save the setting. You will now receive an email anytime a new alert is posted. You can also turn off your subscription at anytime by deselecting the alert or watch box.
